During the trade mission organised by UK Department for Business and Trade, Daniel Statham and Annie Feng were truly honoured to be introduced to His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. His vision for the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah was a remarkable inspiration for architects and designers at our Studio.

It was also a great pleasure to meet Oliver Christian, His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for the Middle East and Pakistan and HM Consul General to Dubai, whose speech deepened our understanding of Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ).

The trade mission coincided with COP28 UAE and Big 5 Global, as well as a series of events hosted by RIBA Gulf Chapter, all of which provided us a chance to dive into and make connection within UAE.
